For homebuyers

Your lender said the credit needs work first.

That is a specific problem, and it has a specific path. We work on the credit obstacle so you can go back to your loan officer in a stronger position — and we will tell you honestly whether that is likely before you spend anything.

This page is for you if

Any of this sounds familiar.

  • A lender pulled your credit and told you to come back once it improves.
  • You were pre-approved, then something on your report changed the answer.
  • You stopped looking at houses because you were not sure you would qualify.
  • A loan officer or real estate agent suggested you talk to someone about your credit.

What we work on.

We review all three of your credit reports and identify what appears inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or unverifiable. Then we dispute those items on your behalf and follow the responses through.

Where something on your report is accurate and current, we will say so rather than take your money to challenge it. Often the most useful part of the review is finding out which parts of the problem are fixable and which are simply a matter of time.

What we are not

  • We are not a lender and not a mortgage broker. We do not originate loans and we do not place you with one.
  • We cannot promise that you will be approved for a mortgage. Nobody working on credit can promise that.
  • We cannot promise a score, a number of points, or that a particular item will come off.
  • We keep working with your loan officer's relationship intact. If one referred you, they stay your loan officer.

Find out what is actually in the way.

A free review, your three reports, and a straight answer about whether we can help and roughly what it would involve.
